Packer I (1st shift and 2nd shift)
The OpportunityIn a Packer position, you are primarily responsible for ensuring the right amounts and types of products, such as snack-size bags of potato chips, are placed in a box.
The PeopleProduction SupervisorsOther Direct LaborersWarehouseHow you make an Impact Accurately count product and place it in a bag, box, or conveyor belt for packing.
Lifts and carries products, as needed, weighing anywhere from 3lbs to 20lbs.
Ensure cleanliness of work area is always maintained.
Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
Adhere to Tech Packaging's COVID-19, communicable disease control safety guidelines.
Perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, Bending, and lifting.
Other duties as need.
90% of your time Scheduled will be spent Packing reading dates, smaller product into a larger box, or packing smaller boxes inside larger boxes and placing on a pallet.

What you need to succeed at IFS Punctual with schedule Team player Strong work Ethic Physical/Environmental Demands Ability to frequently lift 10lbs and occasionally 50lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift, over time based on business needs.
Hand/Eye coordination.
Must be able to constantly twist, bend, carry, balance, push, pull, reach overhead, and stoop.
Must be able to follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures All plant positions are required to stand, practice frequent motion of extremities and withstand exposure to heat and cold for extended periods of time.
Two 10 minuet breaks and a full 30 minuet unpaid lunch break.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Must be able to count accurately.
Experience within a Warehouse/Distribution Environment Ability to be flexible with work schedule Punctuality with a demonstrated attendance record Experience working in team-oriented environment Must have dependable and reliable transportation Must be able to understand basic English OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing.
